First Week Done!!!

I finished my first week of uni and it really was a long one. This is my fourth year of universtiy so this isnt new to me but I can already tell that this semster is going to take me out. But I like pretty much all of my professors and I also really like my new roomates in my apartment.

Since I live off campus and dont have a car I walk everywhere I need to be, I walk to class, to get food, to shop. And it is exhasting, im getting 10k steps every day and I dont like it. Im gonna keep doing it though becasuse I want to get skinny 🤭

Another thing I did this week is I took my first driving lesson, which is apart of my drivers ed course. The lesson was 4 HOURS LONGGG!!! And prioir to the lesson I had never driven anything so I was very stressed about it. I actually ended up doing pretty good though. And my next 4 hour lesson is on Tuesday and my instuctor said at the end of it I will take my driving exam. So fingers crossed I pass🤞🏾

That pretty much all I have to say for now, it the weekend and Im at my parents house chillingand studying,so nothing very interesting happening. I am going to go shopping laater but its just for more home decor. So Ill leave it here unil next time ;)

Shoppinggg!!!

Did some back2skool shopping that i was not ready for, and now my wallets cryinggg. I bought wayy to much bath & body works and then spent like $200 in ross!!

Sidenote i absolutley love ross, if you peaked at my lookbook page i talked about the asthetic i want to go for and ross was the perfect place to find what i needed.(A more in depth post about that coming soon....)

I started shopping really late in the day so i didnt make it to my apartment untill almost midniught. So I got basically nothing done in my bedroom and bathroom so they still look a mess but im already excited for how it's gonna come together. I ordered some posters that imade at CVS and yall neeed to lock in because the posters are big and right now they have a sale for the 16x20 poster for $5, I got 4 of them today and im about to buy 2 more when i finish this post.

Just wantered to check in while I had a little free time but now it I gotta get back to work on this room, byeeee

Update😘

Helloo everyone, it has been a little while since I have been active on my blog, and that because I have been trying to getting my life together. I finally moved into my off-campus apartment but I'm not staying in it until I set it up with everything that I need which should be around Saturday, and uni starts on Monday. so, it's just been a lot!!

I also wanted to mention that I love the community on here and i like seeing everyone's blogs and reaching out to everyone, it really is a highlight and I'm going to be getting back into it and be really active with posting more and letting y'all into my mind. But in this present moment I'm extremely stressed and I fear I will stay in this stage until like the end of next week.

So I will hopefully be posting again consistently next week, I'll be back and better than ever!!

Another Day

The saga of figuring out how to set up this blog continues. Also, if you're like me and your setting up a blog cause you saw it on TikTok don't believe them when they say it easy because I promise you it is such a headache. 

Besides setting up the blog I have also been getting my life together to move into my off-campus apartment, I'll give a better update about that when I finish sorting through this blog.

My First Post

 Hello to whomever stumbles upon this blog,

My name is Londyn and I want to tell y'all a little about myself before we get into the bread and butter of what The Whimsy Loner will become. So, to start off I am 22 years old and in uni, I'm currently attending LSU for my undergrad and planning to get my master's here as well. I am a girl of many hobbies, which is really how I spend all of my days since I don't have friends to hang out with :/ right now my big three for hobbies is sewing, reading, and polymer/air dry clay. I have also become a fan of anime recently but really, I only watch romance animes, and sometimes My Hero Academia. 

I have recently realized that I kind of act like a npc when I'm around other people. It's like whenever I leave my room, I just lose all personality. But I have noticed that in my mind I'm, this whimsy magical free spirit but in practice I just look like a dork sometimes. And there's nothing wrong with looking like a dork but why am I this majestic whimsical princess when I'm alone but when I'm around people,
I'm like a disgruntled hermit. This is a mystery that may never be solved, but through this blog I wanna share with you my true personality that refuses to come out in social settings. 

In The Whimsy Loner there will be a whole range of topics because I'm just gonna be posting about the things I talk to myself about which is a lot of stuff honestly. But to give you a rough draft of what's to come, we will be talking about anime, sewing, growing my sense of style (whimsy edition), my slight weight loss journey, books, college life, crafting, and a whole bunch of other things I haven't written done yet so I hope you stick around and enjoy it.
